Check out our first You Tube video showing the cattle coming in for a summer check up.  The suckler herd were given their blue tongue vaccination, worm drench, fly spray and tag check.  The calves were also de-horned.

JUNE 2010

Geoff's son is an enthusiastic member of Princes Risborough Young Farmer's Club.  This year the club won the annual county Young Farmers Rally held in Waddesdon at the beginning of June with an impressive lead of more than 100 points above the second placed club.  Victory tasted even sweeter because both the boys and girls tug o' war teams won their classes after months of intense training.

Geoff's wife was a judge at the rally (but was not involved in any of the classes involving Princes Risborough!).  Geoff's cousin Jonathan was also at the rally and sadly informed him that there will be no chickens available for sale at the next Down On The Farm shop days in July because Mr Fox has been at them again and killed seventy.

Geoff has spent a lot of time on fencing prior to letting the suckler herd out.
